Roy Wennerholm, Jr and missionary companion Beverly Smith Wennerholm, were both born in Ventura County, California. They have five children and 18 grandchildren. Roy and Beverly are both adult converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints having been baptized in Garden Grove, California in 1960, shortly after Elder Wennerholm graduated from the University of California at San Jose with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In July of 1999, they returned from the Philippines where Elder Wennerholm was the President of the Philippines San Pablo Mission. Elder Wennerholm has served as Stake President (Pennsylvania Pittsburgh North Stake),  Bishop (Broomall 1st Ward, Philadelphia Pennsylvania State), member of multiple stake high councils and as a gospel doctrine teacher among other assignments. Sister Wennerholm has filled leadership callings in both stake and ward relief societies, young women’s organizations, primary and enjoys teaching in relief society. Roy is a retired Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of a Fortune 300 company (Joy technologies Inc.) with offices and subsidiaries in 37 countries around the world. They live in Ivins (Kayenta), Utah. Elder Wennerholm enjoys bird hunting and training bird dogs.
